1. The service
Astacity is an online learning platform for technology and compliance skills. An account gives you access to free content; purchased courses grant a personal, non-transferable license to stream their content for your own learning. You must be 16 or older to register.
2. Purchases and refunds
Prices are shown before purchase, tax-inclusive for EU consumers, and charged by Stripe — card details never reach Astacity. By choosing immediate access at checkout you expressly waive the 14-day EU right of withdrawal for digital content; independently of that waiver, Astacity offers the refund policy described on the Refund Policy page.
3. Certificates
Certificates attest that the named learner completed a specific course or path on Astacity. They are not accreditations and do not confer third-party certifications (e.g. CompTIA, AWS, Cisco). Exam-prep courses are neither affiliated with nor endorsed by any certification body; trademarks belong to their owners.
4. Acceptable use
No sharing of accounts or playback links, no scraping or redistributing course content, no attempts to circumvent access controls, and no submission of content you do not have rights to. Reviews must reflect genuine experience. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Instructor content
Instructors warrant they own or have licensed everything they upload and that all quiz and exam questions are original work. Copyright holders can report infringement via the takedown process; substantiated notices are actioned within 24 hours.
6. Liability
Astacity provides content "as is", aims for but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and — to the extent permitted by law — limits liability to the amount you paid in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
